Chemical Peels
Conveniently located to serve the Twin Cities
A chemical peel is a procedure that removes the top layers of damaged skin. The new cells below form tighter, younger looking skin. There is a wide range of chemical peels available. A free consultation is the best way to determine which peel is recommended to get the results you are looking for.
Chemical peels are most commonly used for:
- Wrinkled skin
- Sun damaged skin
- Blemished skin
- Acne and acne scarring
- Melasma, a tan discoloration of a woman’s face
You can expect:
- Your skin to feel warm, tight and “pulled” for several days. Your skin may or may not peel or flake.
- Some redness for 2-3 days
- To avoid sun exposure for 21 days following your procedure to avoid skin discoloration. You will need to use a zinc sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher during and after the peeling process.
