Dr. Fletcher has been practicing in the Twin Cities area since July, 2002. He moved with his wife and children to St. Paul from Durham, NC.

Originally from St. Louis, MO, he completed general surgery training and plastic surgery training at Brown University in Providence, RI. After leaving the upper east coast he completed a Hand/Upper Extremity and Microsurgery fellowship at Duke University in Durham, NC. He has been a member of active hospital staff at most of the hospitals in the East Metro area as well as seeing patients and performing surgeries at North Memorial Medical Center in the West Metro.

Dr. Fletcher currently holds an appointment as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at U. MN and is active in instruction of medical students, surgery residents, plastic surgery fellows and hand surgery fellows. He is the sitting Chief of Hand Surgery for Healthpartners and Regions Hospital in St. Paul. He is active in a number of local and national plastic surgery organizations.

When he is not caring for patients he enjoys spending time with his grade-school children, working on his historic home, cycling, running and fishing.
